Released for Air Max Day 2022 and sold only across Latin America and Asia Pacific, the women's Air Max 1 'Wabi-Sabi' takes its name from the Japanese idea of finding beauty in imperfection. That thinking shows up everywhere, from the stitching to the uneven colour blocking.
An off-white canvas base is paired with a pink leather midfoot panel and a green Swoosh, all joined with visible contrast stitching. Muted browns and olives are mixed across the split mudguard and the heel overlay, and the heel adds Nike's smiley face. 'XXXV' is stitched in red on the outer heel to mark 35 years of the model. Swappable tongue tags, a crackle-finish cream midsole and a gum outsole complete it.
