sacai designer Chitose Abe applies her layered, deconstructed style to the Nike Blazer Low in 'White Patent'. It keeps the vintage shape recognisable while doubling up almost every key detail.
Shiny white patent leather forms the upper, finished with raw foam at the collar. Two Swooshes overlap on each side, one in grey suede and the other in matte white leather, and the eyestays and tongues are doubled in the same way. Textured rubber layers wrap around the toe, midfoot and heel for extra structure, and the insole carries both Nike and sacai logos. The rubber outsole keeps a classic herringbone tread for dependable grip. Bright, clean and unusual, it looks great with wide trousers or cropped denim.
