Dutch artist Piet Parra designed this Nike SB Dunk Low for a series marking the Tokyo 2021 Olympics, the Games where skateboarding appeared as an official sport for the first time. Its abstract pattern also featured on the kits Nike SB made for national skate federations.
Off-white leather forms the base, and Parra's abstract print runs across the textile overlays in blue, red, pink and teal. A cut-short black leather Swoosh sits on the side panel, with a small white Swoosh stitched near the outer toe. A sticky gum rubber outsole handles grip and wear on the board. It is a loud, artistic pair that works best with plain clothing so the print can take centre stage.
