Union LA marked the Cortez's 50th anniversary with this SP, a reworked version inspired by the people and neighbourhoods of Los Angeles. It's a warm, textured take on one of Nike's oldest silhouettes.
A striped woven textile forms the base, with peach-toned suede overlays and a Swoosh in pink suede. A gold 'UN/LA' tag is attached to the outer eyestay, the fold-over heel tab carries Union's Frontman logo, and the cork insole is printed with a repeating Union wordmark. The midsole is speckled Crater Foam, and the herringbone outsole underneath contains Nike Grind recycled material. A great partner for loose trousers, shorts and relaxed summer outfits.
