Union LA's 'Shimmer' is part of a three-pair pack that turns Nike's Field General, a 1980s football boot, into an everyday lifestyle shoe. This colourway was a Union exclusive.
Breathable Silt Red mesh forms the base of the low-top, with beige leather and suede overlays laid over it for contrast. Pink webbing trimmed with reflective detail makes up the top eyelets and the pull tab at the heel. A small yellow UN/LA label is fixed to the outer eyestay, and the tongues carry different labels, Nike on one shoe and Union on the other. The brown rubber cupsole has a Union wordmark embossed on its outer sidewall. It's a smart, slightly retro pick for anyone who likes muted colours with small surprises.
