The Air Jordan 6 was designed by Tinker Hatfield and released in 1991, the year Michael Jordan won his first NBA championship. Its spoiler-style heel tab, lace lock and visible Air unit make it instantly recognisable.
The Air Jordan 6 Retro "Reverse Infrared" released on 14 February 2026 and is based on an unreleased sample created in the late 1990s. It has a layered black nubuck upper with Nike Air heel branding in bold Infrared, matched by the Jumpman on the neoprene lace cover. The sole flips the colours of the 1991 original, with Infrared dominating the sidewalls of the Air-assisted black polyurethane midsole, and a translucent rubber outsole adds grip. A striking pair for collectors that also looks sharp with black denim or trackpants. Every pair is checked for authenticity before it ships, and shipping is free on every NZ order.
