Yeezy Slides size chart

Find your usual sneaker size in any column, then read across to the Yeezy Slide size to buy. Conversions follow adidas's official men's footwear chart, and foot length is adidas's heel-to-toe measurement. Yeezy Slides are labelled in US men's sizes, with the women's equivalent one size higher.

Adult Yeezy Slides run from US 4 to US 16 men's. If your usual size is 14 or above, the same rule applies: one full size up.

Do Yeezy Slides run small?

Yes. Across sneaker sites, resellers and owner reviews, the consensus is that Yeezy Slides fit small, by close to a full size. The one-piece EVA foam shape has a raised edge around the footbed and a fixed foam strap, so your foot has to sit inside the moulded bed rather than over it. That makes the toe area and the midfoot band feel tight in your normal size.

A minority of reviewers, mostly those with narrow feet, find their true size fine, and some feel later pairs fit slightly better than the early releases. The fit is still snug in every version, so if you are unsure, sizing up is the safer bet. A Yeezy Slide that is a size too big is comfortable; one that is too small pinches your toes on the front lip.

What size Yeezy Slides should I get?

Start from the size you wear in most sneakers, ideally your adidas size, and add one full size:

• Normal or average feet: one full size up (US 9 becomes US 10).
• Wide feet: one full size up as a minimum.
• Narrow feet, want a snug fit: true to size can work, but expect a tight fit at first.
• Wearing socks: one full size up, or the larger option if you are a half size.

Yeezy Slides in half sizes: what to do

There are no half sizes in Yeezy Slides. Every pair is made in whole US men's sizes only (4, 5, 6 and so on), so half-size wearers have to choose. Because the slides already run small, round up rather than down:

• Usual US 8.5: buy a US 9.
• Usual US 8.5 with wide feet, or planning to wear socks: buy a US 10.

Rounding down to your lower whole size gives a very tight fit and is only worth it if you have narrow feet and want the slide to hug your foot.

Women's Yeezy Slides sizing

Yeezy Slides are unisex and sized in US men's, which is why our listings show both, for example "8 Men's (9 Women's)". On adidas's chart, a US women's size is always one number higher than the US men's equivalent.

That conversion and the one-size-up rule cancel each other out. A women's 8 is a men's 7, and going up one size gives a men's 8. So most women can simply buy the men's size that matches their usual women's number. Women who are a half size, such as a women's 7.5, should round up to a men's 7.

Kids, infant and GS Yeezy Slides sizing

Yeezy Slides come in three runs: Adults, Kids and Infants. Infant pairs use toddler "K" sizes (listings run from around 3K up to 10K). Kids pairs cover the larger K sizes and finish at youth size 3.

There is no separate GS (grade school) Yeezy Slide. Once a child is past youth 3, they move into the adult run, which starts at US 4. On adidas's charts a youth size has the same foot length as the matching US men's size (a 5Y is a men's 5), so GS wearers simply follow the adult chart above and go one size up.

For infants and kids, measure the child's foot in centimetres and check it against the size chart on the listing rather than guessing.

Yeezy Slides vs Foam Runner and Nike slide sizing

Yeezy Foam Runner: like the slides, Foam Runners are sold in whole sizes only and share the same size conversions. The fit advice is less consistent: some owners stay true to size, others go one size up, and the closed toe box is less forgiving for wide feet. Do not assume your Yeezy Slide size carries over. Nike Calm Slide: Nike's foam slide is also sold in whole sizes only, but reviewers are split between true to size and sizing up. The Yeezy Slide is the one with the consistent "go up a full size" reputation, so do not copy your Nike slide size across.

Yeezy Slides for wide feet

Yeezy Slides fit narrow, especially across the midfoot where the foam strap sits. The strap is moulded foam with no adjustment, so if it is too tight it presses into the top of your foot. If you have wide feet, go one full size up at a minimum, and take the larger whole size if you are a half size. The foam softens a little with wear, but it will not fix a pair that is a full size too small.

Can you wear Yeezy Slides with socks?

Yes, and plenty of people do. Socks take up room in an already snug footbed, though, and the strap is where you feel it most. If socks are part of the plan, size up one full size, and if you are a half size, take the larger of the two whole sizes either side of you.

Some owners actually prefer socks with their slides, because the foam strap can rub the top of the foot on hot days or when your feet are sweaty. If that sounds like you, buy for socks from the start.

How to measure your foot (cm)

1. Stand on a sheet of paper with your heel against a wall.
2. Mark the tip of your longest toe, then measure from the wall to the mark in centimetres.
3. Measure both feet and use the longer one.
4. Find the closest foot length in the chart above and read across to the Yeezy Slide size to buy.

If your measurement falls between two rows, use the larger one. Measure later in the day, when your feet are at their largest, and measure with socks on if you plan to wear them.
