Corteiz, Stüssy, Sp5der and Hellstar all fit true to size, so buy your usual size in each. The difference is the cut: Stüssy is relaxed, while Corteiz, Sp5der and Hellstar are boxy and roomy by design. Size down one only if you want a neater, closer fit.

Streetwear sizing at a glance
| Brand | How it fits | If you're usually M, buy |
|---|---|---|
| Corteiz | Tees wide and slightly cropped; hoodies oversized | M |

| Sp5der | Oversized and boxy, with a shorter body | M (S for a neater fit, L for extra length) |

| Denim Tears | Regular to relaxed | M |
| Fear of God Essentials | Runs big | M in hoodies (S for a standard fit), S in tees |

All four brands use letter sizes, starting at XS or S. Brand-by-brand details are below, along with how to check a size against a hoodie or tee you already own.
Corteiz sizing
Verdict: true to size, with a roomy cut. OPUMO's Corteiz size guide says the tees are "cut slightly cropped, wide across the chest" and advises going true to size for the proper Corteiz fit. It describes the hoodies as intended to fit oversized: stick to your usual size, or size down for something neater, though even then it won't be fitted. Corteiz cargos and pants are big and baggy, so buy your normal waist.
If you're usually M, buy M. If you're tall with a long torso, the cropped tee may sit shorter than you're used to, so consider one size up for length.
We currently stock Corteiz tees, such as the Corteiz Reflective Alcatraz Tee, plus collaborations. The Corteiz x Nike NRG Pant is a Nike product, so use your usual Nike trackpant size. Denim Tears x Corteiz pieces, like the Cotton Wreath Sweatpants, follow our Denim Tears size guide.
Stüssy sizing
Verdict: true to size, relaxed fit. Stüssy describes both its Basic Stüssy Tee and Basic Stüssy Hoodie as a relaxed fit. French retailer Graduate Store says to take your usual size in tees and sweats because sizing is consistent. Mensflair calls Stüssy tees boxy with dropped shoulders and suggests one size down only if you're slight or short.
If you're usually M, buy M. Slim builds who want a closer fit can take S.
| Size | Basic tee: chest width (cm) | Basic tee: length (cm) | Basic hoodie: chest width (cm) | Basic hoodie: length (cm) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| S | 50 | 71 | 57 | 69 |
| M | 55 | 74 | 60 | 71 |
| L | 60 | 76 | 62 | 74 |
| XL | 65 | 79 | 65 | 76 |
| XXL | 70 | 81 | 67 | 79 |

Much of our Stüssy range is collaborations. Tees and hoodies from the Always Do What You Should Do and Patta drops, like the Stack Tee and Stack Zip Hoodie, are Stüssy releases, so the verdict above applies. Stüssy x Nike pieces, such as the NRG Washed Hoodie and Fleece Crewneck, are made by Nike, so buy your usual Nike size. For partner-made pieces like the Junya Watanabe collaboration, check the product description or email us before ordering.
Sp5der sizing
Verdict: true to size for the intended oversized, boxy fit. The Hype Magazine says Sp5der hoodies "generally run true to size, but they're cut oversized on purpose", with a boxy, dropped-shoulder shape, and that sizing down works better if you want a tighter fit. PAGE Magazine's review agrees the silhouette is oversized and notes that many buyers go a size smaller. Knitwear.io calls the hoodies true to size with a slightly oversized feel. Sp5der's own store lists no fit notes, so we've gone with that consensus.
If you're usually M, buy M. Take S for a neater fit. Sp5der hoodies are wide through the chest but not long in the body, so tall wearers who want more length should go up to L rather than down.
We stock Sp5der hoodies, sweatpants, tees, shorts and jackets. Buy sweatpants and shorts in the same size as your hoodie for a matching set, like the OG Web Hoodie with the OG Web Sweatpants. Tees such as the Heavy Web Tee also follow the usual-size rule.
Hellstar sizing
Verdict: true to size; hoodies are a little oversized. Hellstar's own product pages say it plainly. Its tees read "Order true size, size up for an oversized fit", and its hoodies "fit slightly oversized". Most fit guides describe Hellstar as boxy and oversized: go true to size, or one down in tees for a neater fit, and buy your usual size in sweatpants.
If you're usually M, buy M. In tees, take L if you want the oversized look. In hoodies, take S only if you want a neater fit; the slightly oversized cut is intended.
We stock plenty of Hellstar tees, such as the Hellstar Classic T-Shirt Black, as well as hoodies like the Sport Logo Hoodie and the Uniform Sweatpants. Buy sweatpants in your normal size.
Compared with Fear of God Essentials and Supreme
- Fear of God Essentials: runs big on purpose. Our Essentials size guide recommends your usual size in hoodies for the oversized look (one down for a standard fit) and one size down in tees. So if you wear S in Essentials tees, you're likely M in Hellstar, Corteiz or Stüssy tees.
- Supreme: buy your usual size. Supreme tops are cut wide and boxy, so only go one size down if you want a closer fit. See our Supreme size guide for piece-by-piece advice.
- Denim Tears: regular to relaxed and true to size. A medium Cotton Wreath hoodie is 64cm across the chest on Denim Tears' chart, 4cm wider than a medium Basic Stüssy Hoodie.
How to measure a hoodie or tee against one you own
Brand charts are measured flat, so measure your own clothes the same way. It's the most reliable way to choose between two sizes.
- Pick a hoodie or tee that fits the way you like and lay it flat on a table, smoothed out.
- Chest width: measure straight across, 2–3cm below the armpits, from side seam to side seam.
- Length: measure from the highest point of the shoulder, next to the collar, down to the hem.
- Compare those numbers with the brand's chart. Chest width tells you how roomy it will feel; length tells you whether it will look cropped.
- If you land between two sizes, the smaller one gives a neater fit and the bigger one a looser, more oversized fit.
Remember that chest width is half the circumference. A 60cm chest width means the garment is 120cm around.

Streetwear sizing FAQ
Does Corteiz run big or small?
Corteiz fits true to size but is cut roomy. Tees are wide across the chest and slightly cropped, and hoodies are designed to fit oversized, so buy your usual size. Size down only if you want a neater fit.
Do Sp5der hoodies run big?
They run true to size but are cut oversized and boxy on purpose. Buy your usual size for the intended look, or one size down for a neater fit. The body is on the short side, so tall wearers can go one size up for length.
Should I size up or down in Hellstar?
Neither for most people. Hellstar says to order your true size in tees and size up only for an oversized fit. Its hoodies fit slightly oversized, so stay in your usual size or go one down for a closer fit.
Is Stussy true to size?
Yes. Stussy describes its basic tees and hoodies as a relaxed fit, so buy your usual size. If you are slim and want a closer fit, go one size down.
Does Corteiz fit like Fear of God Essentials?
No. Essentials runs bigger, so most people size down one in Essentials tees, while Corteiz tees fit true to size. If you wear S in Essentials tees, you will most likely wear M in Corteiz.
