The Pollex is Salehe Bembury's ongoing collaboration with Crocs, and one of the most distinctive things either party has made. Its surface is moulded with a fingerprint-like topography — 'pollex' is the anatomical word for thumb — turning the Croslite foam into something sculptural. Releases are limited and sell out immediately.
This is the Paris Fashion Week Exclusive colourway of the Salehe Bembury x Crocs Pollex Clog Wear Test Sample. It comes from the Salehe Bembury collaboration — a limited release rather than a general-line product, produced in smaller numbers and not repeated. It released on 18 January 2023. The palette makes it an easy everyday option rather than a piece you have to plan an outfit around.
