Comme des Garcons PLAY and Converse have been working together since 2009, and this Chuck 70 High 'Black Red' marked the first time the partnership used a red midsole.
The upper is black canvas, with a white webbing strip at the heel and CDG PLAY's heart logo with eyes on the side. Standard Chuck features remain, including a white rubber toe cap, winged stitching on the tongue and the round All Star patch at the inner ankle. The glossy crimson sole is what sets this pair apart.
