Overview
The Nike Air Max 1 was designed by Tinker Hatfield and released in 1987 as the first sneaker with a visible Air unit, inspired by the exposed structure of the Centre Pompidou in Paris.
Description
The women's Nike Air Max 1 "Platinum Violet" features a white upper with beige overlays, a light purple mudguard and a matching Swoosh, with suede in the build. The visible Air unit in the heel gives it the classic Air Max 1 look and cushioning. Soft tones make it easy to wear with light denim, lilac knits or white trousers. It is a comfortable everyday sneaker that adds a gentle pop of colour to neutral outfits. This is a women's release sized in US women's; as a guide, women's sizes usually run 1.5 sizes larger than the equivalent men's size. Every pair is checked for authenticity before it ships, and shipping is free on every NZ order.
