The Chuck 70 is Converse's premium reissue of the 1970s Chuck Taylor All Star. Against the standard model it runs a heavier canvas, a higher rubber foxing, more cushioning underfoot and the glossy egret midsole with black racing stripe that marks the era it draws from. It's the version built to the original spec rather than the modern one.
This is the goodluckchuck colourway of the pgLang x Converse Chuck 70 High. It comes from the pgLang collaboration — a limited release rather than a general-line product, produced in smaller numbers and not repeated. It released on 2 May 2022. The colourway keeps it versatile day to day, sitting comfortably with everything from jeans to looser, more technical fits.
