Overview
The Salomon XT-6 launched in 2013 as an ultra-distance trail racing shoe, built for runners covering long distances over rough mountain ground. Its Sensifit cage wraps the midfoot, the Quicklace system cinches the whole upper with one pull, and the Contagrip outsole handles loose and uneven terrain. A decade later it became one of the defining shoes of the gorpcore movement, and remains Salomon's most recognisable silhouette.
Description
This is the Cradle Pink colourway of the Sandy Liang x Salomon XT-6 Expanse. It comes from the Sandy Liang collaboration — a limited release rather than a general-line product, produced in smaller numbers and not repeated. It released on 5 May 2023. It's a straightforward pair to wear, pairing as well with relaxed denim as it does with a more considered outfit. Sourced brand new and authenticated, and shipped from New Zealand with free delivery on orders over $350.
