The Puma Mostro first arrived in 1999 — 'mostro' is Italian for monster, after the spiked outsole. It's a low, slip-on shoe with a neoprene-style bootie, a broad strap across the forefoot and a sharply toothed sole, originally designed with motorsport and training in mind. Puma brought it back in 2024 and it has been one of the brand's defining silhouettes since.
This is the Deep Navy colourway of the JJJJound x Puma Mostro. It comes from the JJJJound collaboration — a limited release rather than a general-line product, produced in smaller numbers and not repeated. It released on 10 July 2025. It's a straightforward pair to wear, pairing as well with relaxed denim as it does with a more considered outfit.
