The Chuck 70 is Converse's premium reissue of the 1970s Chuck Taylor All Star. Against the standard model it runs a heavier canvas, a higher rubber foxing, more cushioning underfoot and the glossy egret midsole with black racing stripe that marks the era it draws from. It's the version built to the original spec rather than the modern one.
This is the White colourway of the Slam Jam x Converse Chuck 70 High Vintage. It comes from the Slam Jam collaboration — a limited release rather than a general-line product, produced in smaller numbers and not repeated. It released on 20 February 2025. It's an easy pair to build an outfit around, and works as readily with denim as it does with technical or tailored pieces.
